"I am continually delighted at the way our ever-changing natural lighting conditions keep revealing new subtleties in my transparent paintings. Each piece looks so different from hour to hour!"

Born in Baie Comeau, Quebec of Welsh immigrant parents and fascinated since childhood by Native Canadian Cultures, Lynette's artwork reflects the wide influence of both her Celtic heritage and her love of the Canadian Wilderness (through which she has traveled thousands of miles by paddle). Settling in Ottawa after graduating from the University of Ottawa, Lynette worked in the adventure sport and graphic arts fields until taking 'time out' to raise her family. Presently she is creating out of her home studio, to which you are invited during the West End Studio Tour in September or by appointment.

Commissions and Custom Window orders are welcomed. Complete bio, CV and portfolio are available on request.

As a professional artist, Lynette is a member of CARFAC, CARCC and OCC.

In her other life, Lynette & her partner love to trip, teach & travel in our truly awesome Canadian wilderness, mostly by paddle, but also on foot, ski & snowshoe (when the rivers are frozen!). Lynette's art takes huge inspiration from her time on the rivers & in the woods. Lynette also maintains membership with Trailhead and is an Instructor (CT2) with Ottawa ‘Y’ Canoe Camping Club and Ontario Recreational Canoe & Kayak Association.
